NxC Prologue 2-1: Of Knights and Men

So, hey, fun facts time:

- Xiaomu and Reiji are both original characters created for this game! Whoo!

- What I thought was chapter one was actually the PROLOGUE chapter 1. OF 5.

- This chapter isn't very good :/

You can view your units, and I don't know what purpose this really serves considering your units completely change next round. Perhaps eventually I'll get to choose my units or swap items or something.

Learning about my MA possibilities, I ran across this! Wow, great going guys!

After looking at an FAQ, W is actually "Holy" while E is...E. I...have no idea.

Oh lord. Okay, screw this. All you really gather from this is that Leon is doing something evil to protect "something". Also Stan keeps talking about the "Eye of God" even though Leon has no real interest in it at all. Oh, and they attack each other, which in these cutscenes is represented by fading in and out of black for about 3 seconds. Buh.

Finally, the cave...caves in, and the two heroes escape with Leon staying behind to supposedly die. Horray?

It's a monster hunt alright, but Phantom Beasts aren't the problem. This looks a lot worse. Seems the "Golden Knight"'s mixed up in it.

As opposed to the many, MANY other golden knights!

Yep. The Golden Knight hasn't fought since "that" battle, years ago.
Being ambiguous keeps the audience guessing regardless that we should and do have names for these events and people!

Anyway, obviously not much more to this conversation other than "WHOOO ROAD TRIP"

Oh, huh, this character is more often than not refered to as "Sandra". And it's not that Kurino is the Japanese name because the game he was in was only released in Japan. Even weirder is that Sabine is refered to as "Koakuman" in one of the FAQs. Hell, I'm not even sure Gantz's name is spelled correctly here. Way to go translators, I hate you

These two are dumb and gay and male (the one on the right being a bit of a surprise to me) and are having a drama plot that doesn't seem to be related to the story at all. Regardless, I'll include their conversation in spoilers just incase I'm wrong.

Did I mention this chapter is lame? Prologue 3 looks like a lot of fun but noooo, we gotta play the whooole game

Pfft, if I lived in videogame land I'd have slimes climbing through the plumbing everyday, they're not that uncommon.

Time to mention another fun thing about this game; two characters that essentially are one. Yes, that's right, regardless that there are two seperate characters, they NEVER seperate, essentially making them one unit. I can only think of one unit who eventually joins another later in the game, but that's about it.
