Pick of the Week
Hello kids, welcome to Pick of the Week. This section is about our favorite music! And you can too. Each week just send a favorite song of yours to Krem (either attach it to an e-mail addressed to krem at the daily pos dot org, or upload it somewhere and send him a PM), and on Friday you'll see it here. We encourage you to include a few words about the song, why you like it, who the band is, etc., but no pressure of course. Keep checking back each week, we have quite a few people here with top-tier taste in music so there's always some p. good stuff in this section - and then there's Spat, but don't mind him.

Krem's Pick: Talking Heads - The Lady Don't Mind
this is a fairly obscure but highly excellent Talking Heads song that my friend Rob Dixon told me about a while back! I was real sad back then but this song helped me feel a lot less discouraged! Thanks, Rob Dixon and Talking Heads!

Ben's Pick: The Robot Ate Me - The Genocide Ball
<Ben> hurhurhurh I will continue to submit songs to potw without saying anything whatsoever to describe them
<Krem> yeah well I

Soap's Picks:
Donkey Kong 64 - Mad Jack
"Hey, remember that jack-in-the-box boss fight? That was great, huh?"
Smokey and the Bandit - East Bound and Down
"A great song from a great movie!"

Rick's Pick: Joy Division - Transmission
Actually, Rick forgot to Pick anything for this week I'm putting Transmission here for him because it is a Joy Division song that he really should listen to... and so should you!!

Wally's Pick: Marnie Stern - Put All Your Eggs In One Basket And Then Watch That Basket!!!
<luffy> the best part of the marnie stern song "
<luffy> put all your eggs in one basket and watch that basket!!!
<luffy> " is the exclamation point BARRAGE at the end
<Krem> man this is a really awesome song
<Ben> oh wow

YAJ's Pick: Iwasaki Tarou, feat. Hi-Timez' Tarantula - 'Libera me' from hell
"What can I say? This is a fucking epic piece of music composed for the anime Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann, this song and its variations play in the most epic parts of the show. The song itself directly captures the spirit of the show: overcoming the impossible and kicking reason to the curb, all while inspiring the fuck out of anyone who sees it."
