I think that was a result of resizing the images, because it looks normal when I play it.

make sure when you resize them you don't use any filters.

I vaguely remember a "better quality" checkbox, and I think I left that unchecked to save space.  That's probably what did it,

I ended up just switching out Wendy for Akuma, with not very many other options for new guys to fling into our very special team. Grass is kinda shitty, there's no sense using a flyer that can't Fly (I think). We need a surfer anyway, and Akuma here has all kinds of potential.



Wait, are you serious? Biospark can learn Surf? My instincts wouldn't let me put a special attack on a Pokémon with such a shitty SP. ATK, and Akuma would get Surf regardless because it's the one useful in battle HM, but if Akuma gets off the team or the lure of a surfing Furret proves too much for someone sillier than I to resist, the option's there.



Not like she has a wealth of other moves competing for that slot.



Headbutt is pretty powerful for this stage of the game.



Finally, I give THE EGG Attract. It is now the SEXY EGG!

We have very limited attack options against ghosts right now, but in any case Akuma needs the XP and Surf is kind of overpowered at this point in the game.



I threw a bunch of berries we had on our Pokémon because they had nothing else worthwhile to hold. It actually became useful surprisingly often.



Well, her only attacking move is completely random anyway.

I'm not sure operating an official league gym counts as "secret" training.

As a result, I can now see what others cannot.
