I agree with Soap. I beat the game last night myself and I felt that everything about this game felt like it was worthy of the rank of SMB3/SMW tier. The stages were quite challenging, but fun at the same time. I highly reccomend playing this game (if you don't intend to buy a Wii U try to bug a friend to play it sometime).
The only thing that felt a little cheap was the boost mode. You could essentially play with a wii mote, then place blocks to get to high places if you were by yourself. It's not a bad concept with friends, but it also cheapens the game a bit. I suggest not doing this and getting the star coins and stuff on your own. It makes the game that much better.
Now on to the extra stages and more hidden stuff I have to find!
