Essentially all Android games are free in some way or form and I'm not talking about trials and demos.

What they've said is that all games need to in some form be freely available - which includes just having a free trial of the game.

What a load of cock.

The game’s concept is simple — the titular Visorman is positioned as the saviour of old-school FPS design, gunning down generic army men in generic locations in order to find and destroy the ‘modern day formulas’ of AAA game design. Despite the over-familiar setting and enemy types, Peter Saunders of Polygon Gaming has been keen to stress that the game will still feel like a 90s homage.

Watch out, Sony's Playstation VitaTM, looks like 2013 is actually the year of the Ouya. Oh, yeah!

Wait, did they decide to make an homage to an infamously shitty era of (console) FPS?

Oh and also they're apparently planning on releasing a new hardware version every year. Which on the one hand isn't really rare when it comes to most android devices like smartphones and tablets but this is a thing they want to compete on the console market with.

And that's not how the console market works.

I'm proud of being straight and the idea of being gay goes against my biological wiring.

Every game is free to download, but then dumps on your head a load of nags, pop-ups, and pleas for upgrades or in-app purchases — some games are $4.99, some are $15.99, others just constantly implore you to donate $.99 so the developer can have a beer. Worst of all, it makes buying things impossibly easy — you enter a credit card when first setting up your Ouya, and there are often no confirmation boxes or checks against you spending thousands of dollars. Oh, you hit Upgrade because it's right next to Play and the controller's laggy? Perfect. Thanks for your money.

its us, we collectively owned the console, both in the sense that "the masses" "crowdsourced" it into existence and therefore everyone "owns" OUYA in a certain fashion, and also in the sense that we owned it with our jokes in this thread critiquing its low quality.
